All Sheeples wool is washed at least 3 times before it gets to you.

Hand Washing Instructions:

1. Fill a tub with warm to hot water and mild soap (such as Dawn, Joy or Palmolive dish liquids; Woolite or Zero; regular shampoo).
2. Soak the garment for about 10 minutes.
3. DO NOT AGITATE!
4. Drain the water from the tub.
5. Gently squeeze the garment to get out the excess water.
6. Fill the tub with cool to warm clear rinse water.
7. Put the garment back in the tub and soak it for about 5 minutes.
8. Drain the water from the tub.
9. Gently squeeze the garment to get out the excess water.
10. Repeat steps 6 to 9 until the water is clear (does not have any soap suds left in it). Usually two rinses are required. Use a bit of hair conditioner or cream rinse in the final rinse to soften the wool if desired.
11. Roll up in a towel to remove excess moisture.
12. Lay flat to dry.
