Wool and Exotic Fibre Processing Prices

Effective January 2009

All fibre must be properly skirted and free of vegetable matter.
*Sheeples reserves the right to refuse any fibre that is poorly skirted or overly contaminated with vegetable matter.

Service	Price (Canadian $)	Description
Washing	$5.00/lb greased Incoming weight	Our washing process includes 2 washes and 2 rinses. If you wash your own fibre and it is not clean enough we may need to rewash it. You will be notified if this is the case.
Opening/Carding	$9.00/lb wool $15.00/lb exotics and blends Finished weight	Charges include opening and carding into batts or clouds.
Pindrafted Roving	$12.00/lb wool $18.00 exotics and blends Finished weight	Includes opening, carding, pindrafting and packaged as a neat coil. Excellent for handspinning.
Spinning	Regular weight yarn Wool $23.00/lb Exotics and blends $26.00 Fine weight yarn Wool $25.00/lb Exotics and blends $28.00/lb Finished weight	Includes opening, carding, pindrafting, spinning, plying, washing to set the twist, and skeins, centre pull ball or cone winding.
Dyeing	$10.00/lb Finished weight	We dye using Gaywool dyes. Single colour, 1 lb minimum.
Blending	$2.00/lb Finished weight	Blending of your fibres, e.g. wool with alpaca or mohair etc.

Payment Terms: 50% due upon receipt of fibre, 50% due when order completed.
